We look forward to sharing some family time with you.
Get down to Watts River Brewing this AFL Grand Final Day on 28 September to watch the game on three big screens, enjoy a few hot dogs, beers and cheers, plus a few added surprises!
We have two 65 inch screens and a 75 inch TV screen to show the game – so you’ll be able to get a great view of the game in various locations at the brewery.
There will also be a number of other fun activities to celebrate our national game!
And for just $10 you can enjoy a tasty hot dog with sauerkraut, cheese, mustard and ketchup.
A keg of beer is more economical, more environmentally friendly and even more fresh and delicious!
We’ve got 20 Litre and 50 Litre kegs you can hire for home or an event. Hiring a keg means you’ll receive the beer you love at a great price and in a format which is much better for the planet.
Here’s how it works:
1. Select your Keg
Our core range of beers are nearly always available in keg along with one or two of our special batch beers.
However, there are busy times when we won’t have all our beers available.
If you do hire a keg with us, put in an order in advance of the next time you think you’ll need a refill so we can guarantee supply. Or if you can, order a few weeks in advance of when you’ll need your keg of Watts River beer.
2. Organise your keg system
If you’ve got a Kegerator, a Watts River Brewing 20L or 50 L keg will fit perfectly. Otherwise you will need A-Type Couplers to tap into the keg.
If you don’t have a keg system already, we can provide A-Type Couplers as part of your keg hire.
3. Check, fill or hire your CO2 cylinder
The CO2 cylinder is what you need to push your beer into your glass from the keg via the couplers.
We can swap your empty cylinder for a full one or sell a cylinder to you for future swaps once its empty.
We have 2.6kg or 6kg full cylinders for just $74.00 or $124.00.
4. Arrange payment, pick-up or delivery
You can hire a 20 litre keg at a competitive price – saving you up to 30% on packaged beer of the same volume.
There is a $20 deposit which you’ll get back when the keg is returned.
You can pick up your keg from the brewery or we can deliver your keg to you in Metro Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Geelong or Mornington Peninsula.
5. Return the empty keg or arrange pick-up
We can pick-up your empty keg or please drop it and any equipment you’ve hired back to the brewery when you’re ready. We only have a certain quantity of equipment and kegs therefore this arrangement is strictly a hire arrangement.
6. Can I order or fill a Growler instead of a Keg?
Yes we have Growlers or you’re welcome to fill your Growler at the brewery. Talk to us at the brewery to find out pricing and more.

The release of our Belgian Style beers was such a huge event last year, we are doing it all again!
Circle Friday, 12 April on your calendar for the launch of this year’s Belgian Style Beers.
And this time we’ve got some cool Melbourne events coming up to spread a little love for the Watts River Belgians.
Of the four beers available, only very limited bottled stock will be available so be sure to snap your favourite Watts River Belgian Style beers up quick as last year they did not last long!
Brewery Launch
We’re opening up the Belgian Bar from Friday, 12 April to pour our fresh new Belgian Style Beers.
Ricki Wood will be performing from 5pm and there will be some delicious Belgian style foods including Belgian sausage, stout pies, cheese and crudités.
Belgian Style Beers
Watts River 1 , Belgian Style Blonde This Belgian Style Blonde is elegant with a light malt profile and touch of hops for a fruity and dry, refreshing ale. Enjoy with mild cheeses, chicken or salmon dishes.
Watts River 2 , Belgian Style Dubbel– This brown ale has a full body and strong malty taste. Inspired by the Belgian Dubbel, the Watts River 2 is rich, smooth and voluptuous, with hints of caramel and cocoa.
Watts River 3, Belgian Style Tripel – A complex, spicy and fruity Tripel beer is golden in colour and beautifully aromatic. If you’re a fan of Moules Frites (mussels in broth with french fries) try it next time with a bottle of the Watts River 3 & you’ll be quietly satisfied.
Watts River 4, Belgian Style Quadrupel – A big, rich beer which will warm your heart this winter. Like the style created by Trappist monks in Belgium, the Watts River Quad is balanced and more enjoyable when shared. You don’t need food to enjoy this but a cheese board won’t go astray.
